Garlic is Good!

A month ago, I woke up feeling absolutely awful with a sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, a fever(which I didn't bother measuring) and all over body weakness. I had read of the healing potential of garlic, and had tried several ways of using it for other colds, with no marked effect. This time I got serious. I ate a raw clove first thing-ooh the burn! My stomach wasn't too crazy about it either. I began to feel my sickness abating within 30 minutes though, so I ate another clove with lunch, another with dinner, and another before bed. I had a serious case of flatulence after that, but the rest of my body was feeling ever so much better! I repeated the process for the next 5 days. After the first day of serious garlic eating, I was no longer troubled with stomach issues, and the symptoms of infection subsided to a mild feeling of tiredness. By day five, I was 100% healthy. I concluded from this experience that garlic works best raw, and that cooked garlic looses it's antiviral and antibacterial properties.
