Is Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Real?

Is multiple chemical sensitivity possible? Should it be considered a 'real' affliction by the medical profession?
I believe it is just as real as bipolar disorder. The only problem with multiple chemical sensitivity is that it would be darn hard to treat it with a variety of pharmaceutical chemicals. Why do I believe? Well, because I know what it's like, to a certain extent. Certain artificial fragrances, dryer sheets, perfumes, dry cleaning chemical residue, liquified bleach, ammonia, aerosol furniture polish(especially the Pledge brand formulated to get rid of allergens), many other household cleaners(especially Fabuloso), even plain old vinegar produce various miseries for me when I am exposed to minute amounts. I can smell these substances infiltrating the atmosphere way ahead of everyone else. I get headaches, weakness, breathing difficulties, sore throats, watering eyes, nausea and fatigue. I'll prove to you that this multiple chemical sensitivity is real. Just observe me sharing airspace with any of those substances and record your observations. I have nothing to gain by getting sick from these substances. In fact, it is a major inconvenience. Recently I had to flee from the local mall with streaming eyes because some horrid chemical set me off. That effectively ended my family shopping trip, and we were finding deals too. I have no lawsuit to win through chronic illness, and definitely no desire for the designation of  'disabled'. There is absolutely no profit for me in any form of personal ill health. So-with that in mind, here is the other side of the coin, may they all develop bizarre chemical sensitivities of their own!
