Customer discrimination? How about this:

It hit me several months ago and I didn't realise it at the time. Then it happened again. I went to Lowe's here in Simsonville to get my monthly lye supply and I asked an employee where it was. Recall my adventures in soap crafting, how much I love it, and imagine my shock and disgust when the employee informed me that lye was also used for making the drug methamphetamine. I thought-So there is none because the druggies bought it? You sold it all to the druggies and ran out of it? I have a Lowe's card so doesn't that make me a special customer too? That's why I have to put the 3 Lemons soap off? In Simpsonville? Could any of my neighbors be doing such a thing? LMFAO for short-yeah, a bunch of grandpas and grandmas, nice younger couples with dogs, nice older couples, a police officer or two, a few young families with adorable babies and toddlers, and assorted nice single people. I love my peaceful surroundings, and wake up with gratitude. No way could anything sordid like that be happening here. Not in my neighborhood. Hmmm. Is it our civic duty to keep it that way, for our neighbors beyond our neighborhoods too? Well, I can do a small thing. I can guarantee that I can buy 1 container of lye a month and turn it into pure, beautiful, natural herbal soap. I can guarantee that any dopers out there wouldn't get that one. My budget isn't infinite, but I can do that, at least. So, Lowe's, what do you think about putting me at the top of the buying list? I can only do this one small pure clean thing. Can you reserve one for me before the possible dope freaks wipe out the supply? I resent it that they could be getting it all. Is our wonderful land not built on the foundation of consumption? I can direct one small vein of that consumption to ensure a positive outcome, with a nearly effort less bit of beneficial cooperation. If  a crop of amateur soap makers suddenly sprouted in our area, it could be a wonderful thing, couldn't it? The soapers could buy up all of the possible dopers ingredients for mischief.
