Find what works and use it

I would love to say that I am completely independant of pharmaceuticals right now, but it isn't so. When I came down with this latest infection, I had to resort to the prescription meds for my asthma and funny enough they were not working either. Uh-oh, when that happens I'm supposed to go running to my physician. The way things are, most likely I wouldn't get an appointment before these ran out anyway.

Allegedly, I have to have that steroid on the left for the rest of my life. I dare to disagree. The Combivent on the right is no longer available. Then I remembered a neat little medicine that I have had great success with in the past and I don't even need a prescription for it. I am relieved that it is still available. I went out last night and bought it, took it and had the best nights sleep I have had in ages. The excess mucus problem has subsided more than it has in months and the sinus thing is much better too. How could that be?

This has good mucus lessening and bronchial opening effects. Ephedrine is good medicine when it is not abused. My body is telling me that it is better medicine than the other two. I can't say that this is so for everyone. Nothing works for everyone, but this is what works for me. The plant Ma Huang is a natural source of  ephedrine. Unfortunately it has been so abused and maligned that it is no longer available in stores. You can grow your own plants for your own use. As for that steroid: it depresses the immune system, thereby lessening inflammation. How can one get rid of an infection if one's immune system isn't working well? I believe I'll keep drinking my ginseng astragalus tea.
