Kratom continues, along with some ginger

I was SO relieved when the kratom ban didn't happen and I happily re stocked my supply. My year anniversary of experimentation with this herb has passed, without any ill health effects. Kratom does not completely alleviate my pain, and I strongly suspect that only complete anesthesia resulting in loss of consciousness could do so. I never get high on kratom, as I have stated before. My pain levels without kratom were definitely negatively affecting my quality of life. With kratom, it seemed better.  For the past several months, my feet were acting up in the worst way. Kratom did not completely remove this pain, but I do believe it took the edge off. I am proud to say that I did not miss a single day of work due to my physical difficulties. I missed a lot of extra curricular non monetary activities though. I don't believe the kratom made any impact on the inflammation in my feet, but I do believe that the latest things I have been trying have been helping, and my feet feel and look almost normal now. My latest thing is a combination of ginger and cherry ethanol extracts that I made. The taste is vile and the dosage is small, diluted in water. I believe that alcohol should only be used to preserve or extract the beneficial ingredients from herbs, and that it shouldn't take much to have a noticeable effect over time. No way am I going to ingest more than 1/4 teaspoon or less per day! I just got plain tired of trying to eat enough straight ginger, etc. I rather love ginger, but the roots available locally aren't tender little babies. I pulled a cheat for my ginger extract by utilising the alcohol that I had immersed a quantity of sliced ginger in in order to preserve the root for recipes. I just add more ginger or alcohol as needed and keep it going in the fridge. I'm considering combining the benefits of all into one extract, but I have discovered that kratom works best for me eaten straight up. Some people positively cringe at this notion, but I don't find it horribly unpleasant as long as I swig water with it. If not, it can give a good dry choke. I'm in the habit now of moistening it with the water and chewing it around a bit.
